SS: Inline Choice

Inline choice items include drop-down menus for students to select the correct word, phrase, or symbol. They can appear on any STAAR reading/language arts (RLA), math, or social studies test (3-8 or EOC). Students will receive information and a statement with a keyword omitted, and they must choose the correct option from the drop-down menus to complete the statement.

 

Question Type Overview

Student selects the correct answer(s) from one or more drop-down menu(s).	8th  USH	1 to 2 points	Students select the correct answer from a drop-down menu for each blank. These items assess analytical skills and understanding of key terms and concepts. They can be used in various disciplines, including primary sources, secondary sources, and visual materials like charts, graphs, and maps. Items may feature one or multiple drop-down menus.
